This 3-session lit circle will focus on short texts that pack a big punch. Each week we’ll spend an hour reading aloud and discussing a short essay, poem, vignette, or piece of flash fiction (no longer than 3 pages). Reading materials will be provided ahead of time. Our discussion of the text will be followed by an optional half hour to write in response to a prompt related to the reading that week.
Led by Arlyn Miller, this relaxed, comfortable literary circle is well suited for those with difficulty reading due to low vision or limited time and anyone who enjoys hearing text read aloud. No prior book group or writing experience required.
